Textile environment protection

OEKOTECH is standing for new ideas and interesting concepts in environment protection, waste management and recycling. The ongoing growth of world population, the shortage in fossil raw materials and the rising environment pollution lead to increasing demand in special ecological textiles. Even though the share in market volume of technical textiles is very low (less than 1%), those textiles supporting spare resources and promote the application of re-growing materials will gain more and more importance.

Currently, main application fields of this product range are protection against erosion, remediation of ski trails and slopes, air and water cleaning, waste management, sealing of soil or river and lake protection. Pollutants from waste water can be eliminated and bonded by special textile filters. Extremely absorptive nonwovens help to clean waters polluted by oil. Application of textile oil barriers is also state-of-the-art.
