BRANCH ASSOCIATION PLAUEN LACES AND EMBROIDERIES
The Branch Association Plauen Laces and Embroideries (Branchenverband Plauener Spitze und Stickereien e.V.) serves as professional association of regional embroidery industry but also as trade mark association for the brand Plauener Spitze® hold by the association.
Main tasks of the association are:
- Activities in trademark rights and IPR for member companies
- Assuring high quality products
- Organisation and coordination of certifications
- Support of press and public relations
- Organisation of joint presentations and image campaigns
- Promotion of vocational training for the embroidery industry
- Promotion of economic and technical development of lace and embroidery industry
- Organisation of project work and management
- Cooperation with service partners, associations and research institutions
- Representation of interests against public authorities
- Mediation of cases
- Maintenance and protection of historical heritage
